Healthcare
Public care is a small-country system: one hospital, parish clinics, and a social-security fund. What you are entitled to depends on your affiliation. Confirm that on CASS.
Taken from saas.ad, cass.ad and the Govern.ad health theme. This page does not repeat reimbursement percentages or contribution tables. Those sit in current CASS rules and they change.
SAAS, the public provider
The Servei Andorrà d’Atenció Sanitària is the public healthcare provider. On its own site it describes the Hospital Nostra Senyora de Meritxell as the only hospital in the Principality, in Escaldes-Engordany.
SAAS also publishes a network of Centres d’Atenció Primària (parish clinics staffed by nursing professionals, working with family doctors and specialists). The same pages list school health, mental-health services, and El Cedre, a socio-health residence.
Emergency medical attention is described on the SAAS site. For a life-threatening emergency, use the number published there.
CASS, social security
The Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social is the public social-security institution. Its site covers affiliation, medical vouchers, and coverage when travelling to Spain, France or Portugal. Whether you are insured, and on what terms, depends on your permit, employment or other legal basis.
Private clinics
Private centres operate alongside SAAS. We list Centre Mèdic Carlemany because it publishes its own site. That is not an endorsement and it is not a substitute for CASS affiliation.
Daily life context is on living in Andorra. For a permit, start with become a resident. The registers themselves are on official sources.
