Education
Families do not choose a single national curriculum. The Government publishes three systems, and a public university in the south.
Taken from the Government’s Sistemes educatius a Andorra and Formació Andorrana pages. Confirm places, ages and language of instruction with the school and the ministry.
Three systems
Govern.ad states that three education systems operate in the Principality: the Andorran system, the Spanish system, and the French system. Each follows its own programmes. The official education-structure pages set out how maternal, primary, secondary and baccalaureate stages sit beside one another.
In the Spanish and French systems the Government requires Formació Andorrana: Catalan, and Andorra’s history, geography, culture and institutions, adapted to each system from early years through later stages. That is the official integration course, not a private extra.
University
The Universitat d’Andorra is the public university. Its site places the campus in Sant Julià de Lòria and describes programmes aligned with the European Higher Education Area. We list it in the directory.
International teaching
Alongside the three public systems, at least one British-curriculum international school publishes its own programmes: The British College of Andorra. That is a sourced listing, not a ranking of every private option.
Language in daily life is wider than the classroom. Catalan is the official language. Spanish and French are widely used. Immigration files can ask for Catalan at renewal. Confirm the level then required on Govern.ad.
